GEELONG has made three changes to its team that will lineup against the GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It will be a big occasion for Carly Remmos who will become the sixth Cat to make their AFLW debut this year.
Remmos was drafted to the Cats with the 39th pick in the 2020 draft.
A developing midfielder, with quick hands and power, Remmos has been named on Geelong's interchange.
Madisen Maguire's best-on-ground performance in Geelong's VFLW win last weekend has been rewarded with a recall to the senior side.
Maguire will become the 28th different player used this season and will play her first AFLW game of the year.
Laura Gardiner has also been given another opportunity in the senior side after an impressive performance in the two's.
Vice-captain Jordan Ivey and Georgie Rankin will miss through injury, while Georgia Clarke finds herself as an emergency for the Round 8 clash after being omitted.
Saturday's game against the Giants at GMHBA Stadium will commence at 1.10pm AEDT.
