The VFLW Cats are set for the big stage of GMHBA Stadium with the clash with Collingwood scheduled for the venue in the latest league fixture release.
The Cats and Pies, who were due to play off in the 2021 rebel VFLW Grand Final before its eventual cancellation during Melbourne's lockdown, will get the chance to face-off at GMHBA Stadium in their Round 8 clash on Sunday, 10 April.
It comes as the VFLW released its fixture for Rounds 6-12 on Tuesday.
After a league-wide bye last weekend, the Cats will host second-placed Essendon at Deakin University Elite Sports Precinct this Sunday, with both teams looking to bounce back. The Cats lost their most recent outing against Casey Demons, while Essendon had a draw with Southern Saints.
It will be the Cats’ second-last home game for the season, after a front-ended start to 2022, with other clubs’ home grounds unavailable due to the crossover of the VFLW and cricket seasons.
