The 19-year-old trails North Melbourne's Jasmine Garner by 15 votes with two rounds remaining in the home and away season.
Hot on her heels in fifth place overall on the AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year leaderboard is Amy McDonald.
The onballer received seven votes this week after another dominant display for the Cats with 20 disposals and six clearances.
Nina Morrison backed up last week's perfect 10 collecting four more votes, while defender Annabel Johnson received three votes.
