RACHEL Kearns has been named to make her return in Geelong's Round 9 AFLW clash with Adelaide at Unley Oval on Friday at 5:40pm AEDT (5.10pm local time).
Kearns has been named to start in attack and will play her first game since injuring her shoulder in Round 1.
The Irishwomen replaces Brooke Plummer who has been omitted.
The clash against Adelaide is set to be a brilliant contest with the Crows and Cats sitting fourth and fifth respectively on the ladder with six wins and two losses apiece.
Geelong will be hunting a fifth consecutive victory having won their last four games with an average winning margin of 19 points.
First bounce is 5.40pm AEDT on Friday. The match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, and can be streamed through Kayo, womens.afl and the official AFL Women’s and AFL Live apps.
