Harry Taylor gains top votes for his performance against the Tigers on Sunday
After Sunday’s showdown at the MCG against the Tigers, senior coaches handed Harry Taylor 10 votes for his on-ball work that assisted the Cats to victory.
Taylor managed to wrap his hands around 13 marks on Sunday on top of making a sound delivering of 19 disposals at 95% efficiency, which caused havoc for the Tigers forward line.
Mitch Duncan was the next in line to receive four votes towards this year’s AFL Coaches Association Award after producing a steady performance of 21 touches, five marks and two goals.
Meanwhile Geelong’s skipper, despite missing out on two rounds of votes, still remains in second place on the AFL leaderboard with a total of 34 votes, and Steve Johnson is in fifth place on 29.
