Aishling Moloney's stellar 2024 campaign has been recognised at the W Awards on Monday, with the star forward selected in the 2024 AFLW All Australian team.
The award follows an incredible season which saw Moloney kick 21 goals for the year, finishing tied at the top of the AFLW's goal kicking leaderboard, the most goals kicked by an individual in a single AFLW season.
Moloney also became the first Irish-born player to take home an AFL/VFL/AFLW league leading goal kicker award.
Among her incredible season, Moloney hit the scoreboard in eight of her eleven appearances while kicking multiple goals on six occasions.
The Irish star's six goal haul against West Coast was also record breaking, the most goals kicked by a Geelong player in a single game across their AFLW history.
Along with her scoring prowess, Moloney averaged over 14 disposals and three tackles per game.
The 2024 season resulted in Moloney finishing second in Geelong's AFLW Best and Fairest, an incredible performance in just her second season of AFLW.
Selected at Centre Half Forward in the All Australian team, Moloney becomes just the sixth Geelong player in AFLW history to make the All Australian team.
