Jordan Murdoch has been cleared of engaging in rough conduct against Swan Isaac Heeney.
The speedy Cat made high contact to Heeney when attempting to take possession of the ball during the second quarter on Saturday.
After reviewing all available footage and speaking to the umpire who laid the report, it was the view of the Match Review Officer that Murdoch was contesting the ball and had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball.
Two Cats received fines for their involvement in a melee at the conclusion of the third quarter.
Zach Tuohy can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea, while Tom Stewart can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
The Cats will host the Giants in round seven on Friday night at GMHBA Stadium.
