Selwood takes four
Unfortunately the Cats recent performance hasn't been enough for Selwood to keep his top position in the AFL Coaches Association vote count
After Geelong’s disappointing loss against Fremantle the skipper slipped from second position to fourth in the current tally of the AFL Coaches Association vote count.
However, Joel Selwood was still able to collect four votes from the senior coaches. The young captain left the Perth stage with a heavy bag of 35 touches, seven tackles and seven clearances at 80% efficiency.
No other Cats were able to pick up a vote.
Ahead of Geelong’s home game against the Roos, Selwood currently sits on a total of 38 votes.
