Geelong will head to November's NAB AFL Draft with a number of handy picks.

The Cats won't have a first-round selection but will enter the draft near the top of the second round after receiving pick 24 from Richmond in exchange for Josh Caddy.

Their next pick, No. 38, is late in the second round, while they will then have a selection early in the third round.

That third-round selection - No. 42 - was received from the Brisbane Lions in 2015 in return for Josh Walker and Jarrad Jansen.
