The Cats have secured promising forward Aaron Black from North Melbourne for pick 92 in the 2016 national draft.

At 192cm and 92kg, Black is a mobile marking forward who showed enormous potential for the Roos when he booted 33 goals from 18 games in 2013.

The 26-year-old followed up this breakout year with 26 goals in 2014 but has battled for opportunity and against injury in more recent seasons.

Black was drafted at pick 25 in the 2009 national draft and made his debut in round 24, 2011 against Richmond.
