The Cats have passed a significant milestone by exceeding 35,000 members, with the current total reaching a huge 35,176.
The number of signed members has increased by approximately 10,000 compared to this time last year.
Geelong's chief Commercial Officer, Justin Reeves, said this is only the beginning of the club’s considerable growth as it strives to achieve the goal of 50,000 members.
“The great thing this year is because we’ve resourced heavily in our membership team, we were able to get in early and renew about 70% of members,” he said.
“Plus, we have had around 3,500 new members join already, which is fantastic as our campaign focusing on new memberships hasn’t even started.”
“What that enables us to do now is focus on all current members getting their membership packs early, working with the team to finalise reserve seat changes and also allows us considerable time to go out and promote heavily to new members.”
