Geelong will travel interstate for the first time this season, heading north to take on the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday afternoon.
The Cats will be looking to bounce back after falling to Carlton in Week 3, still searching for their first win of the 2024 season.
The competition now enters a condensed period which will see more games with less of a break in between, the Cats set to play four matches in the next two weeks.
Geelong will battle the Suns on Saturday, both teams currently sitting level on two points for the season with a draw and two losses across the opening three weeks.
With two consecutive games at GMHBA Stadium following this weekend’s clash, the Cats will be looking to gain some momentum with a strong performance on Saturday.

It has been close to three seasons since the last time Geelong faced Gold Coast, the most recent meeting coming in round six of the AFLW’s Season Six (2022).
The Cats started sprightly in that contest booting the opening two goals, but could not continue their momentum as Gold Coast kicked six of the next seven majors and eventually closed out an 11-point win.
